Windows 10: Windows 10 1909 - Audio Stuttering

I didn't use 1903 version until november but after that I upgraded my system to 1909. So below 1903 versions(1511,1607,1709,1803,1809) I didn't get any audio stuttering on games, videos etc. but after upgrading my system I have. Funny thing is, after KB4505903 rolled out, I still found out people still complaining dpc, latency issues in their system and I didn't believe them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I got 3 results for latencymon, first one is before trying any fixes(like disabling audio enchantments etc.), second one is after I did try fixes and I thought issue has been fixed, third one is latest result.

I'm using 2013-era hardware and it was working pretty well for me. Here I am, facing stupid issue that looks like never gonna fixed. I understand that I won't upgrade my windows 10 installation because looks like m$ doesn't care older hardware and likes screw up everything.

I don't know what to do, I didn't think microsoft still dealing poorly with these stations. (Maybe because firing all test departments? who knows.) Any help is greatly appreciated.

Audio driver conflict causing stuttering?

Hi Techhelper89,

Unfortunately, I did the instructions as mentioned in the thread and the stuttering persists. I used the link provided: and the steps requested

I also tried reinstalling the Realtek Audio drivers as suggested by the thread to no avail.

I've also added some links of how the stuttering looks and sounds like to the main post of this thread. I hope it helps identify the issue.

One more thing I noticed after the above steps is that I can boot with Nvidia HD Audio drivers disabled but the stuttering persist. Enabling then disabling "cures" the stuttering for a while. Although, when this is happening while the Nvidia Audio drivers are
disabled (as there is an enable option) the icon doesn't look like one that is normally disabled (with a small circular arrow down icon).

Windows 10 Stuttering (Windows Version 1909)

Hey all.

Installed Windows 10 on a completely new hard drive earlier this evening and it was working fine for a few minutes. After putting it in sleep mode to charge, I had come back to the system stuttering every two or so seconds. It's followed by an audio and
video stutter that lasts for about half a second before catching up.

I've tried restarting several times and reinstalling Windows. There's no third party program that could be causing the issue since this is a fresh install, so I'm not sure what the hang up is.

Whatever the case, I'd like to have this fixed as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.

I'm running Windows 10 Home Edition, Version 1909, OS Build 18363.535
