    Windows 10 1909 LiverKernalEvent 117 and 141 Help

Hi, I have been repeatedly having issues with my computer's stability. I have been getting LiveKernalError 117 and 141, according to the Reliability Monitor.
    My PC specs are:
    Windows 10 pro 1909 x64
    2x8GB DDR4 3200
    AMD Ryzen 5 1600 "AF"
    Nvidia GTX 1660 Super 6GB
For more detailed specs, visit - Saved Part Lists - PCPartPicker

The symptoms have been multifold. First of all, a single program will freeze up. Then, I will attempt to use another program, but it too will have frozen up.. After that, the search function in the start menu won't work. Oftentimes, the task manager and the run dialog will not work either. I will then attempt to shut down my computer. Often times, that seems to fix the symptoms, and the shutdown is aborted, and I can continue the same windows session uninterrupted. Other times, it will freeze up in the process of shutting down, forcing me to unplug the computer, as reflected in the log.

    Here's a log of Error 117:

I distinctly remember doing a poor job with the thermal paste, and that has been borne out by benchmark resorts, which I had to manually abort due to overheating. I also covered the LEDs in the case fans with electrical tape because I do not like lights in my case. Could those have anything to do with it? I also uninstalled all the graphics card drviers with DDU, and then later reinstalled them. This has not seemed to help. Should I reinstall windows/ refresh it? Should I immediately begin the process of returning my parts? They are 3 days away from not being eligible for a refund. What's going on?

    :)

    Hello Lim,

Thank you for bringing up your query on Microsoft Community.

We sincerely regret for the inconvenience caused.

    • Are you able to boot to the desktop?
The FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE bug check has a value of 0x00000128. This bug check indicates that a single-bit error was found in this page. This is a hardware memory error.

Let us try the following steps, and check if it helps.

    Step 1:

Let us follow the steps suggested in the following article and check if ti helps in resolving the issue.

    Troubleshoot blue screen errors

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/troubleshoot-blue-screen-errors

    Step 2:

If you are unable to boot to the desktop, I suggest you to run Startup repair from Advance boot option.

It may ask you to insert the Installation DVD/USB while doing startup repair.

You have to create an installation media for that.

You may download an ISO from the below link:

Once your media is ready follow the steps.

    • After you boot your computer using Windows 10 CD/ DVD or System Repair Disc, a black screen appears with gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press any key.

    • Select the correct time and Keyboard type.

    • Click on Repair your computer in the lower left corner.

    • Select Troubleshoot from Choose an option screen.

    • Click on Advanced options in Troubleshoot screen.

    • Click on Automatic Repair from Advanced Options screen.

    • Next, choose the operating system by clicking on its button.

    • Windows 10 will look for problems on hard drive(s) and verify that all required files are intact.
    Hope it helps.

    LiveKernelEvent 141 and 117, BSOD with FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE

    Hello.

For the last couple of weeks or so i've been having the same problem. No Blue-screen, though, PC just freezes randomly. Sometimes, it freezes loading Windows 10, sometimes it even freezes when starting mainboard logo (Gigabyte EX58A-UD5) ! I have to reboot
several times. But sometimes it works perfectly well for hours (?).

The event manager states its a critical error identified either as LiveKernelEnvent code 141 or as LiveKernelEnvent code 117. Didn't figure yet how to solve the damn thing.

My PC runs with i7CPU 950 at 3.07 GHz, 18 Gb RAM and Nvidia GTX-760 (all drivers updated).

    LiveKernelEvent 141 and 117, BSOD with FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE

Original Title: LiveKernelEvent 141 and 117

I was in a skype call and had a few browser tabs open and I got a BSOD with FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE as the message. I am running a crossfire setup with two R9 380 cards. Up to date drivers as of 1/2/16. System details, MSinfo32 output, and .dmp file
are available at the google drive link below. In the reliability manager there are several 141 and 117 errors with the same timestamp. One of each is included in this message below. I cannot reliably recreate the problem, but I also have 141 and 144 error
codes from GTAV when that crashed to a black screen a couple times this week. A 144 code is also posted here. Any ideas?
