    Windows 10 2004/Browsers/Facebook 7/25/2020

Since the Windows 10 2004 update, browsers and Facebook are not responding well. I've used three different browsers Chrome, IE, Edge. It doesn't matter how often I clear cache, cookies, restart, etc., the response from FB is horrible. I also removed all browser extensions, checked the firewall settings, etc. My Android app works just fine on my mobile device and there are no lags or delays. But ever since this last Windows 10 update, just the Facebook connection is extremely slow. This is not an internet access problem--my internet is great, all other sites respond quite well.

I have a brand new computer with 10th Gen processor, 16GB RAM and SS hard drive. I regularly ensure that the BIOS, firmware and drivers are up to date. I also have a five-year old laptop experiencing the same issues after updating to Windows 10 2004.

Complete Windows 10 version is 2004 OS Build 19041.388

    Google Chrome:

    Version 84.0.4147.89 Official Build 64-bit

I submitted a report to Facebook, but no response back from them. Just reaching out to the MS world to see who else is having the same issue.

Is MS aware of this issue and/or are they working to resolve it?

    :)

Issues with May 2020 2004 Windows Update and Unable to Uninstall Update

    Hi AP,

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

Remove 2004 from the Recovery environment. I suggest not to install a feature update within 1 month of the initial release.
