Windows 10: Windows 10 2004 BSOD caused by ReFS.SYS with error SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and...

Hi, today I started seeing fatal errors with my computer causing a BSOD boot loop with the same errors repeating.


I've attempted to roll the system back to 1909 with no success. DISM and SFC report no errors and the system is up to date as of this posting.

The issue is that my ReFS based disk array, running via Storage Spaces, is causing the system to BSOD immediately upon boot. The system boots normally only when the HDDs involved in that array are physically disconnected from the system.

This array consists of about 21TB of data that I cannot afford to lose and was in the process of uploading to a cloud backup service when the entire system failed.


Is ReFS considered unstable under Windows 10 build 2004? How could I possibly troubleshoot this and regain access to my data?

OK, so while I was recording on my Windows 10 device with the Camera app it said I was out of space then it came up with a BSOD ( third time this month) The error was system_thread_exception_not_handled (iacamera64.sys). Can anyone help me solve this and
tell me more about this error? Thanks in advance.

"System_Thread_Exception_Not_Handled (dxgmms2.sys)" Windows 10/Nvidia

Have been getting BSODs (first time in many years!) under similar circumstances.

Specifically:

bug check: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

file: dxgmms2.sys

file version: 10.0.14393.206 (rs1_release.160915-0644)

caused by address: dxgmms2.sys+5aa6c

BSODs typically happen after a few minutes using a programmer's IDE (Komodo by ActiveState). No games and probably 2D only.

I am using an AMD 7870 no SLI and not Nvidia.

Unfortunately, I upgraded my AMD drivers and Windows 10 just prior to these crashes. No previous issues video problems at all.
