Windows 10: Windows 10 2004 hangs/loading randomly for file system access

Hi, I've installed/upgraded my computer from Windows 10 1909 to 2004 as provided in Windows Update. After upgrading the system startet having huge problems. Windows Explorer and applications accessing the filesystem startet hanging randomly for minutes, then suddenly came back and then were hanging/loading again. I've then freshly reinstalled Windows 10 2004 again and still have the problem that Windows Explorer and applications accessing the file system start hanging randomly for minutes e.g. 5-15 and then work for a limited time before hanging again! Please help! Is this a known bug/problem with Windows 10 2004. With 1909 everything worked like charm! Thanks, Peter

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows Store hangs with loading circle on Windows 10

I understand your concern about accessing Windows Store as it hangs with loading circle. We will help you with this issue.

Try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to run the
Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

Method 2: Clear the Store cache:

You may try these steps to clear the Store cache and check if it helps:

• 
  Press the Windows + R keys on the keyboard.
  
• 
  Type wsreset.exe and press
  Enter.
  
• 
  Reboot the computer and then check the issues with the App.
  

Method 3: I suggest you to check with the system Date, time and Time zone
is set correct.

Follow the steps to set the date and time:

• Type Date and Time in the search bar.
• Click Change date and time button.
• Click Apply and Ok to save the date and time.

Note: Click on the Time Zone tab to check the Time Zone.

Broken Jump Lists after upgrading to 2004

Hi, I am suddenly facing issues with the Jump Lists after upgrading to version 2004. For some reason, when I try to access recent files (that have not been moved), Windows thinks that the file is not there. This happens randomly to some files. I've attached an example of such an issue with using the Jump Lists for Notepad++. Anyone know a solution to this?
