    Windows 10 2004 not being offered


    This is more of a curiosity as I am wondering why I am not being offered Windows 10 2004. I did a check for updates and I am presented with:

    I spent overnight in a hotel (in the same city I live in) and with my laptop connected to their Wi-Fi I was offered to download and install 2004. I wasn't going to do this on a hotel's Wi-Fi so saved it for when I got home. When I checked again today, I got the same wait message. Interestingly, my wife's laptop which is on the same network as myself is bring offered the download. I am wondering why this would be as we are both running W10 1909 build 18363.900.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
