Windows 10 - 2004 update - action center battery save button strange behaviour

    hi,

today i updated my windows to 2004, everything seems ok to this point except the battery saver button in action center

the button dont work 90% of the time, i have to click multiple times for it to turn on or off

the battery saver option in battery settings works no problem, only the action center button is doing this

i had the latest updates before updating to 2004, also checked for drivers updates specially the 2 devices under batteries in device manager

can you help with this? and thanks so much in advance

    :)

No button for bluetooth in action center

    Joe,

Assuming that you have a Bluetooth card, run these checks -

Do you have a Bluetooth entry in Settings, Devices?

If not then Windows does not think you have a Bluetooth card. Check Device manager for a Bluetooth group.

    1. If neither of these is there then you do not have a Bluetooth card or you have disabled Bluetooth in the BIOS. You should check your BIOS for a relevant entry but BIOSes vary so I cannot suggest where such a setting might be. You could seek advice from your computer maker or their user forum.
    2. If one is there but not the other then you might be able to get it working correctly by reinstalling the driver from your Computer / Bluetooth card maker's website.

You can customise the items shown in Action center but Bluetooth, if it is enabled, is generally put there by default. As explained above, you can customise what is shown by playing around with Settings, System, Notifications. You can add more entries or you can drag off existing entries or you can drag existing entries around to get them in the layout you prefer.

Disable Action Center in Windows 7?

Unfortunately that doesn't disable Action Center, all it does it cause Acution Center to bitch about the Security Center service not running.

Action Center seems to be a different beast from Security Center...

And telling it to not display any messages gets it out of the way, the same way disabling the icon in the suggestions above does, but Action Center is still enabled and running.

Relocate Action Center in Windows 10

I use Windows 10 Pro 1709 64-bit with a vertical Taskbar on the left (I need as much vertical space as possible on a laptop's widescreen due to my workflow). Calling the Action Center with a button located on the bottom left corner (|□|) results in a panel appearing on the right screen border, which requires the cursor to travel all the way across the screen if one wants to click things there, and back to left.

How can I reposition the area where Action Center appears? To clarify what I mean here is an ASCII sketch:

    P. S. Please do not suggest to relocate the Taskbar itself. I used this layout for years and everything except for the new Action Center clicks for me just fine. Also feel free to suggest any third-party tweaking tool that can help.
