Windows 10: Windows 10 2004 update post installation process did not finish

After a few hours of downloading my mini PC was able to complete the 2004 update. However, it appears that windows 10 does a post installation process where it sets additional features such as privacy, reporting, mobile phone connection, etc. That process did not finish and now I´m not able to connect to share drives, and Word is missing temporary location. I have another user in this computer and when the user logged in after the update it did complete the process I mentioned before and all shares are OK as well as office programs. How can I force to run the missing process?


Any help would be very much appreciated.

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

Creative X-Fi Soundcards and Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709 = Complete Disaster / Not Working

Thank you for trying to help , i did tried your suggestion but it did not work :/ , nothing seems to make it work on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709. In the meantime i have bought a new SoundBlasterX AE-5 and it did installed flawlessly , no problems whatsoever. it is up to Creative ( drivers ) and Microsoft ( bug fix ) to fix this huge bugs with Audio.

New install Windows 10 (issue solved)

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
