Windows 10: Windows 10 20H2 I2C HID DEVICE ERROR CODE 10

Hi,


i have a

HP Pavilion x360 Convertible Laptop PC 14 running Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 20H2 os build 19042.804.​

my touchpad is not working many a times. ​

in the device manager the I2C HID DEVICE is showing error code 10. this device could not be started, Please help.​

In my HP Paviliox360, suddenly the touch-pad has stopped working ...initially in the device manager when i checked the mouse and pointer option was not available and also i saw the exclamation mark sigh on the I2C HID, then after performing the update from
the windows setting i restarted the system..to find that the option of mouse and pointer is now present but the issue of I2C HID with code error 10 is still present also I cant see the touch-pad option in the device manager .Also in the mouse setting the touch-pad
option is not present. I've tried the Fn keys to turn touch-pad on/off but no use. when
i connect a external usb mouse it works fine(HID compliant mouse).

Uninstalled KMDF HID Minidriver for Touch I2C Device


I recently upgraded to windows 10, and have had problems with my touchscreen driver. When I touched on the screen or on a capacitive button, the area of the screen that the actual finger touch effected was less than the total area of the screen. On boundaries random things happened. I uninstalled a "KMDF HID Minidriver for Touch I2C Device" driver, which has obviously stopped the touchscreen from working. I'm using a Chuwi Vi10, but this is probably irrelevant. I already have another one that is working perfectly, also running windows 10. It lists both a "HID-compliant touch screen" and the "KMDF HID Minidriver for Touch I2C Device" that the other tablet does not have. I can't find a way to reinstall this driver, as every time the automatic driver update search for the unknown device fails, and I can't find the manufacturer (Silead) on the list of drivers.

Any ideas on how I could get the working driver of the working (identical) tablet on the driverless one? Essentially I just need to be able to get the touchscreen working which is the only thing not functioning after the update to windows 10. I haven't been able to roll back to windows 8 either.

since it has it days and moments that it works perfectly i know its not the touchpad itself

after random windows updates, the drives decides not to work anymore and show i2c HID device (error 10)

i cant fix that issue
