Windows 10: Windows 10 20H2 System thread exception not handled? GSOD

Had my Win10 unit up and running, been on for about 12 hours, and I walk away for 35 mins, and I come back to my PC just sitting there in BIOS. It goes to BIOS since a restart fails, you need to cycle the power, but I have just did another bios reset so it doesn't do that now and I try to boot into Windows 10 20H2 again. I get GSOD, it then tries to fix repairs, and fails, and I try EVERY BOOT OPTION, YES SAFEMODE. Did not work. At one point, it said DAM.SYS was the prob, so I replaced it from another Win10 unit that was on the same version and was functioning, did nothing. I do NOT participate in prebuilds now. It should NOT have downloaded an update and installed it, but it PROBABLY did because you can only delay them for 7 days, sometimes infinite if you are lucky enough to click it enough times before the button actually greys out... don't patch that. Filthy. What is causing the issue? A factory reset IS NOT an option. I have no access to my M.2 now, as it only works in that win10 enviorment. I am so sick of these issues from Windows 10. Every major build, I get some sort of severe issue where I have to "upgrade" windows again to fix it, or to delve into .sys files and registry to fix it. I once had to copy a registry from a friends pc, who thankfully had the same exact hardware I did, to get it to work again. I can't have this **** anymore. When will we stop being forced to update? I have a Linux Mint unit up and running, have not had to touch it for 190+ days. Not once. Windows 7 used to be the same way. You would not have to tend to it like a little child. Its insane. And no, I can NOT boot into windows in ANY way. I have another dedicated drive I am on with Windows 7, as it wont screw up.


So, how do I fix it?

AMD R7 "2xx" series. Can't find out what 200 series it is, 250, 260 etc

The System Thread Exception Not Handled error in Windows mostly occur due to incompatible or old graphics card drivers. System Thread Exception Not Handled error is often displayed along with the Blue Screen of Death

I suggest you to boot into Safe Mode environment and update your graphic drivers.

Method 1: Update drivers.

I suggest you to update graphic drivers and check if it helps. Follow the steps given below.

• Press Windows key + X key and click on
  Device manager.
• Search for Display Adapters.
• Right-click on the graphics
  card and click on Update driver software.

You may also download the latest graphic drivers from the manufacturer’s website and install them on your computer.

If the issue still persist, I suggest you to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check.



Method 2:



Follow the steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode.

• Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
• Right-click on the installer and click on "Properties".
• Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.
• Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

system exception thread not handled windows insider GSOD build 17744

Hello,

I cannot upgrade my windows insider preview due to a GSOD telling me that: system exception thread not handled

I already disabled fast boot and plugged out all devices. It is really bothering me. At the same time I cannot get out from the Windows Insider program that is causing me too much issues, more that expected. It only gives me the option to pause updates for
a week...
