Windows 10: Windows 10 - 20H2 Update Stuck and Update Assistant error 0x80070652

After a few attempts at upgrading to Windows 20H2 via Settings -> Windows Update it kept getting stuck at 0 and at other times at 61%. On day two, I used Windows Upgrade Assistant. Everything seemed to be going okay until “percentage completed” kept repeating three times. Following this I got a Windows Setup error indicating “Windows Setup cannot be launched while another instance of setting up is already running. …Error 0x80070652”. Looking further into Windows Update I noticed the following “Feature Update to Windows 10, version 20H2 3” On the second line it indicates “Last failed

Anniversary to Creator update fails with 0x80070652?

So, I have a problem on 1 machine. With the upgrade assistant the update stops with error code 0x80070652

Running from usb drive from windows it looks okay and reboots a few times, but at the last step it just shuts off. After restarting theres a quick error I did not catch and it reverted to previous installation.

This is on a almost fresh install on a new intel nuc. Any ideas?

I installed the creators update on an old acer tablet (32 bit) and that worked just fine.

My Windows 10 updates always install up to 82% but then get stuck and fail. I've been trying for months to install updates. I've tried installing the updates through the Windows 10 Updates Assistant but the same thing happens. Error code: 0x80070652. Please
help me understand what to do. Thanks
