Windows 10: Windows 10 20H2 Update Will Not Install No Matter What I Try

I am having an issue installing the 20H2 Update and have been for a while. It is now to the point where Windows is telling me if I don't update, my current version will no longer be supported. I have been going through previous threads and answers on this forum to try and get the update to install to no avail.


If I run it through Windows Update normally, it freezes at 61%.

If I run the Windows Update Assistant, it freezes at 99%.

If I use the Media Creation Tool to install from an ISO it freezes at 31%.


I have attempted doing the update in Safe Mode with Networking. I have gone through and done a Clean Boot and attempted the update. Nothing I have tried is working and now I am concerned that Windows is telling me that I will not longer be supported.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
