Windows 10: Windows 10 20H2 upgradation on Lenovo Thinkpad T510

Hello,

I'm my laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad T510. It's specs :-
OS - Windows 10 pro 1709 (64 bit)
RAM - 8 GB
Hard Disk - 128 GB SSD( 74 GB Available)
processor - intel Core i7 620M (2.66 Ghz) Dual core

So my question is does my laptop is compatible to windows 10 version 20H2 ? and also what would be the download size of 20H2 update bcuz my laptop is running 1709 version so does it update to first previous versions(1803, 1809, 1903, 2004) or directly update to 20H2 ?

Thinkpad T510 is bricked after entering PIN in setup

I bought it from a reputable dealer on eBay on July 6th. No history given, except the dealer formatted theHD and tested everything. The listing says No Returns. But he may be open to an exchange. LENOVO THINKPAD T510 15.6” i5 M520 2.40ghz 4GB Ram 500gb HDD DVD RW W/ Charger | eBay
Before I press for that I'm going to try the steps you've suggested further down in this thread.

Compatible as long as you,
temporarily, uninstall any antivirus (Comodo, AVG, etc) and firewall (Zone Alarm) programs before you install Windows 10. Install Windows 10. Then reinstall
Firewalls and Antivirus. If you do not uninstall firewall and antivirus programs, you
cannot get internet even when you are connected to your network/wireless router!

Optionally, you can Install Windows 10. Get screwed and have no internet. Uninstall antivirus and firewall programs. Restart Windows 10 and get internet. Download antivirus and firewall programs.

This is what happens when you don't uninstall antivirus and firewall programs:

So you installed Windows 10 and the Wireless adapter connects to your network/router, but you
can't get internet! My Lenovo T510 is connected to my network and says "No Internet, secured". It uses the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 AGN built-in wireless adapter that is inside the Lenovo.
The wired ethernet does not give me any internet either!

You might think the wireless adapter drivers were at fault, but they are not:

Downloading drivers fom the Lenovo
support site doesn't fix the problem. I download and installed the Win 7 WLAN driver hoping it would make it work, but it didn't. It is called: Qualcomm Gobi 2000 Wireless WAN Driver for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit), Vista (32-bit, 64-bit) and XP - ThinkPad.
Lenovo also does not have any Win 10 drivers for the LAN or WLAN category to fix this problem.

 

Lenovo T510 - No Bluetooth driver for Win10


Lenovo says it will not support any OS above Win7 and specifically that it will not provide a Bluetooth driver for the T510 laptop. I had to roll back my Win10 upgrade due to this issue. My quest: anyone know whether or not there is a possible source for development of such?

Anyone else having a T510 with the same complaint? Let me know if we can unite and appeal this to Lenovo.
