Windows 10: Windows 10 64 bit taking forever to boot ever since the last updates

What in the world is going on. Windows is taking 7-10 minutes to post-up. I've read through a variety of questions from other s who've had this problem and I've done all suggested changes and still, post-up takes forever. What's triggered this and how can I fix it? My computer has the OS on a 1 TB SSD and used to strat blazingly fast, but now frustratingly so slowly that I thought my system had crashed. Any help would be greatly appreciate.

GPU-Z update loop (Windows 10 64-bit)

I don't have better steps - this is all, I have nothing to add.

Maybe it is worth noting issue was on Windows 10 Enterprise, build 14393.187, so maybe you should test on the same.
My other PCs have a different Windows 10 version - Pro, latest Insider Preview build from last week, and there is no such issue on those.
All are 64-bit edition of Windows 10.

This issue is not new. I have had same 1-2 years ago too, with older GPU-Z versions.

EDIT: And yes, I have Windows 10 UAC enabled and set to defaults. If you are using your Windows PCs with UAC off, you likely cannot reproduce this issue. *Smile

 

Windows 10 Update Taking Forever

It will take some time to finish the process when installing Windows Update. As a workaround, we suggest that you perform these steps to identify if Windows is already unresponsive. Press the
NUM LOCK key on your keyboard to check if the light will turn on or off. If the light is changing meaning the system is still in the process but if not, we recommend that you press and hold the power button to shut down your PC.
Once done, try to boot your system again and check if it loads to Windows environment.

Let us narrow down the possibilities why your PC encountered this issue. You can follow the troubleshooting steps below:

• Temporarily disable your antivirus program before running the Windows Update.
  
• Visit the article on how to perform a clean boot in Windows.
  This helps eliminate software conflict that occurs when you install a program or an update. You may also determine what conflict is causing the issue by performing this method.
• Fix Windows Update errors. Since you are using Windows 10, you can do this by running the Windows Update Troubleshooter. To download the Windows Update Troubleshooter, click on this
  link.
• Restart your computer for the changes to take effect and try updating Windows again.
  

Note: After doing the steps above, you can enable your antivirus program again.
