Windows 10: Windows 10 - 64bit KB4338819

Has anybody experienced disappearing App tiles with the installation of this update. I turned off my computer (laptop) and when I powered it back on this update installed itself on to my laptop and now all the additional programs I have installed no longer have tiles on my desktop so I have to reinstall the tiles to my desktop. When I said there are no tiles on the desktop, there is no listing for these program either. If a stranger looked at my laptop right now it would look like any brand new computer with but a basic operating system installed on it. KB4338819 has a problem with it, so I am gonna uninstall this update to see if it fixes my problem.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
