  1. Windows 10 64bit not downloading after installing(then deleting) 32bit version

Hello Guys I really need your Help. My Friend and I built together his own first PC. Our Problem is that we accidentally installed a 32bit Version of Windows 10 on his PC. After noticing the mistake, we quickly formaged the SSD the 32bit Version was on. We also formated the USB-Stick the 32bit Version was previosly downloaded on. After downloading the 64bit Version(all from the official Media Creation Tool), we couldnt setup windows for some Reason. The Error code was 0x8007025d. We tried every solution Youtube and Google had offered us (from checking other components to formating the SSD externally) we tried another USB Sticks. We even tried the following commands in CMD: diskpart select disk x clean convert mbr Would appreciate any Help anyone could offer.

Cant install 64bit only allows 32bit

I can't guess what your problem might be.

I have clean installed 10 Pro X64 from a USB flash drive. I prepared the drive by having the Media Creation Tool download/create the .iso. I set up the flash drive using diskpart (formatted FAT32). I mounted the .iso in Win 8.1 and copied its contents to the flash drive.

In the clean install process, I deleted the partitions from the boot drive and let the Windows installer make new ones.

I'm not sure how universal this is, but to do a UEFI install, the flash drive has to be FAT32. The drive also appears twice in the boot drive listings, and I have to be careful to select the UEFI one. (I don't really understand why.)

    I have a slight issue.

I have downloaded Windows 10 and created multiple USB's using Rufus/Windows7 USB Tool/Even The Win 10 Creation tool, however everything time I try to install using UEFI the USB drive is never detected therefore it can't boot. I change it to legacy and it does boot and will only install the 32bit version...

I have downloaded the 64bit image only numerous times, created it with either with one of the above methods, even with Rufus settings correct, I can never install the 64bit version. As a test I did the same steps for Windows 8 media and it works fine under UEFI and install the 64bit version.

UEFI is selected in my bios, secure boot is off (even tried it with it on) - Even burn them all to DVD to no avail.

Has anyone else had issues doing a clean install with the 64bit media. *Mad

PS I even install the 64bit version of 8 then tried to run the setup within the ISO of 4 different downloads of either both images and the 64bit only image but all state that I need to insert the 64bit media and setup can not install.

    Does anyone have any ideas??

Windows 10 64bit not downloading after installing(then deleting) 32bit version

    32bit or 64bit

Windows 10 64bit you can load 32bit and 64bit applications

Windows 10 32bit cannot run 64bit software, therefore you cannot run apps like QuarkXpress that only come in 64bit versions

64bit Windows can address in theory 16.8 million terabytes

32bit Windows can only address 4GB of which 3.12GB may only be usable depending on the version of Windows you are running

In theory 64bit is much faster than 32bit as a 64bit data word (64 1's and 0's) is processed at each cycle of your processor instead of a 32bit data word. I say in theory as there is

A lot of modern software is now optimised to run on a 64bit processor, therefore will run faster, it took a long time for software manufacturers to re-configure their software to take advantage of 64bit

Basically, if you have the option of running either 63bit or 32bit, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by choosing the 64bit version . . .
