    How do I see the properties of an attached docx file rather than the current date?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    • Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
    • Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

    Try the below steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

    Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

    Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

    • Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
    • Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
      HP Recovery Manager opens.
    • Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
      HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application

    Windows hanging when creating new files

    Hi all,

    I am having an issue where Windows 10 keeps hanging when I mouse over "New" either in desktop or Files Explorer to create new files.

    Here are two gifs showing my issue:

    I have tried:

    • Going to command prompt and using the "sfc /scannow" command (no issues found using this)
    • Used the Windows tool to reinstall Windows without affecting my files
    • Made sure Windows & drivers are up to date
    • Performing a clean boot following these steps
    • EDIT: Tried using ShellExView -> 3 files found that I diabled, but issue still here

    Can anyone suggest any troubleshooting steps, preferably without having to do a full/clean re-installation of Windows?
