    Windows 10 Acer A517 Laptop Audio does not work in Zoom Meeting


    Hi


    I have an Acer A517-51G laptop with Windows 10. Zoom meeting client was working fine for a while but now I no longer get audio. The speakers on my laptop, via Bluetooth, or via HDMI work fine with all other applications but no longer work with the Zoom client. When I test audio I see all the options to change my audio output but I can no longer hear anything.


    I am not sure but it also appeared for a while there that when I started the zoom client, and if I was using Bluetooth to access a Bluetooth speaker, that as soon as I tested the audio my laptops Bluetooth driver would crash and I would have to uninstall, reboot, install, reboot, to get it to work again. I removed the Bluetooth devices and reinstalled the drivers again and Bluetooth is working but I have been turning Bluetooth off before starting the Zoom client so that it does not kill my Bluetooth. So now when I test audio in the Zoom client I get a few options, more if I have my bigger screen attached via HDMI, but no sound out of any of them.


    Again, sounds works fine for all other apps.

    How do I get the ZOOM app onto the Privacy access list?

    I'm not having any luck in unblocking the camera. I can see and hear at Zoom meetings, but not seen.

    Does Zoom need Windows permission? How do you fix that? I'm not very good at tech mazes; maybe someone

    can walk me through that needed connection? Why is Zoom omitted from the apps with access list?

    Error number received at clicking the video sign to join: #OxA00F4244 [no connection)

    Checked re App Access which are all marked ON, but no Zoom app listed.

    Suggestions, recommendations?

    Can anyone give advice on how to download and use Zoom on my new laptop which uses Microsoft Windows 10s - I do not want to delete the 10s programme - but want to be able to have the Zoom meetings with my family that were available on my old laptop - thanks
