Windows 10: Windows 10 Activation [Error Code 0xc004f050]

When I purchased my PC originally it came with Windows 10 installed and I thought nothing of it. A while later my machine began to say it required a product key, which I did not have, in order to activate. Looking into my settings I noticed that it was previously activated by an organization with an activation server which I have no way to contact whatsoever. Upon learning this information I decided it would be best to buy myself a key and properly activate Windows, though it would be a downgrade from Pro to Home, it was no hassle and I purchased the key directly from Microsoft. Now, however, it has been nearly a week since I bought the key for 140 USD and every time I enter said key my machine gives error code 0xc004f050. First I thought to contact windows support but I got no assistance and a bunch of error codes with the "Get Help" app. Then I thought to reset my PC to upgrade to the version I had purchased, while also requesting that it keep my files. Unfortunately after dealing with several more errors not only did it not fix anything, it also deleted most all of my apps, very convenient.

I'm so sick of having the watermark in the corner of my screen and absolutely no control over any personalization settings! And after a week of relentlessly contacting windows support to receive nothing but more error codes after shilling out $140 I'm about ready to blow my brains out, can someone please help?

May be a key/edition mismatch...

we are domain users. when i put my PC to domain did not get license. what is problem?
