Windows 10: Windows 10 Activation errors 0x800704CF and 0xC0020036 after Windows 10 1909 update

Hi! I received a new HP notebook as a gift, and windows 10 was activated with a digital license key. The laptop was working fine since October 2019, but in Feb 2020 after updating windows I suddenly got the activate windows watermark. Checked the activation menu in settings and it says “we can’t reach our activation servers right now” error 0x800704CF. When I troubleshoot it gives error 0xC0020036 saying something prevented us from communicating with our activation servers.

I fixed all pending updates, used windows update troubleshoot, used the DISM and sfc scans. Nothing worked. Typed in the product key under the notebook, not valid. When I restore windows 10 to before the update the watermark is gone. But a few hours after the update the watermark is back and windows isn’t activated again. Any help?

How long did you wait for activation?
When I re-installed with a fresh install... it took a few hours to sync and activate.
However, it did, finally, activate.

Hi!

I signed up in the windows insider program and got windows 10 free - the windows 10 insider preview updated to windows 10 pro.
Today i got another SSD and did a raid 0 on my system forcing me to do a clean install of windows but now it wont activate anymore.
Signing in with my microsoft account that was linked to the insider program didnt help.
Maybe i got this problem since i quit the insider program for several days and signed up again after i found out that my win 10 wont activate anymore.
Any ideas how to fix it?

I couldn't get it to work at all.. I was also told from a friend that it wasn't possible, you may be out of luck.
