Windows 10: Windows 10 activation issue - Error code 0xC004C003

Hi, I recently purchased a brand new HP Probook and it had Windows 10 Pro x64 bit installed on it. While updating the drivers my laptop repeatedly gave me BSOD with error code WHEA_UNKNOWN_ERROR. Upon contacting HP Support I was told to reinstall a fresh copy of Windows 10 which I did. The HP Support agent told me that the Windows 10 Pro activation key is embedded in my BIOS and the windows will be activated automatically but this never happened. I have been contacting HP support and using Microsoft Windows 10's "Get Help" app for the last 4 days but nothing helps. The HP support tells me to contact Microsoft support but I don't see any option to contact Microsoft online chat/support in my laptop or on their website. I also tried different solutions (slmgr commands, screenshot attached) provided in community forums but nothing helped. Also tried Phone Activation using slui 04 command but the call responds, "The person you are trying to reach isn't available". Do I have any other options other than buying a new product key from Windows Store? Need help, please!

• Push the Start button
• Type Settings
• Navigate to Update and Security
• Click on Activation

Due to high demand for Windows 10 globally, few of us may experience a temporary delay in activation. For Activation Error 0xC004C003; request you to wait for 24 hours and Windows 10 should activate automatically without any issue on your machine

Windows 10 Activation Error code: 0xC004C003

Windows 10 Activation Error code: 0xC004C003 - I received a "Free" Windows 10 activation offer from Microsoft but after installation I attempted to Activate it and received the error message listed stating the Key Code was "blocked". No other software
changes were made to my system and I see from other responses I'm not alone. I'm particularly frustrated since one of the "solutions" is "buying" a new activation code for $119. Had I known this before "upgrading", the upgrade would never have been done. Sounds
like a deceptive practice to me. Next step - contact the "BBB" or the PA Attorney Generals Office.
