Windows 10: Windows 10 activation problem

I bought this PC somewhere in 2018 with Windows 10 preinstalled and activated.The store left me the activation key, the last numbers are the same as the ones displayed in the activation UI.Later I set up a new motherboard and new CPU, and unfortunately I forgot my local admin password, and I have to reinstall this Win10 and wipe the whole data from my SSD.The activation key is still there in the UI, but since I change half of the parts, it says that I need to activate Win10 again. Error code: 0xC004C003I tried using "I recently changed hardware on this device", but I need to have a valid Micr

How long did you wait for activation?
When I re-installed with a fresh install... it took a few hours to sync and activate.
However, it did, finally, activate.

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
