Windows 10: Windows 10 Activation

Please, I earlier created and posted the following complain to the Community as indicated below.

“My laptop PC has Windows 10 Pro installed on it but not activated. When I tried to activate the windows, I got a message with “Error Code: 0x8007007B”. A further troubleshoot indicated that I have a digital license for Windows 10 Home, but Windows 10 Pro is installed thereby not allowing the Windows to activate. An instruction was further given that to enable me to activate using my digital license, I will need to install Windows 10 Home. I followed the detailed instruction and using the tool described, I created the installation media, run it to reinstall the correct Windows 10 Home on the PC, which has the digital license for Windows 10 Home but Windows 10 Pro installed. However, the installation does not provide me with an option to select “install windows 10 Home” rather it automatically defaults to “upgrade to Windows 10 Pro” thereby not allowing me to make the clean “installation of Windows 10 Home” on the PC to enable me to activate the windows. Kindly advise me on what to do to enable me to resolve this matter and to activate my PC. Thanks. Mr. Bumba.”



I subsequently got two replies, which I did follow the instructions given, created the ei.cfg file and copied into the Sources Folder in my Installation Media but the installation still defaults to “Install Windows 10 Pro.”

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?

or you could hack it with a crack but please note this is always risky and you don't know what's in the hack
