Windows 10: Windows 10 activation

Hi:

Someone help me with this please.


I was using licensed/purchased Windows 10 Home for the past 3 years. Suddenly, my Windows 10 Home gets replaced with Windows 10 Pro God knows how, probably after downloading some updates. Now, it says I have to activate windows which is out of the question as the 16 digit code is different too. It says "We cannot activate Windows on this device because we cannot connect to your organization's activation server." God knows which organization it is!! Now when I try to install windows 10 home again from the link sent to me on my old purchase, system gets ready to download Windows 10 Pro again!!!


As I am out of ideas now, please help..!

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?

From Why can't I activate Windows?

If you upgraded to Windows 10 for free and ended up in a non-activated state, try following these steps:

• Go to Start
  
  , then select Settings > Update & security > Activation.
• Select Go to Store, and check to see if a valid license is available for your device. If a license isn't available, you'll need to buy Windows from the Store.

or you could hack it with a crack but please note this is always risky and you don't know what's in the hack
