Windows 10: Windows 10 adds keyboard language as System Language

Hello,
I have this issue... the system language is set to French, the region is set to France. The Keyboard layout is german (i have a german keyboard).
The German language is automatically added to the Language Bar.

Windows 10 has a default system-wide language, but you don't have to be stuck with a specific language if your needs are different. Follow these steps to change the system and keyboard language:

Change the system language

• Open Settings.
• Open Time & language.
• Select Region & language.
• Add your preferred language, and set it as default.

Change the keyboard language

• Open Settings.
• Open Time & language.
• Select Region & language.
• Click on the default language, and select Options.
• You can add or remove keyboard languages.

Keyboard characters changed after upgrading to Windows 10.

The above issue might have occurred due to the following reasons:

• Keyboard language and system language set are different.
• Non-updated keyboard drivers.

Before we assist further, did you check if the keyboard layout is similar to the system language set on the PC?



Check if the keyboard layout is set according to the system language appropriately on the PC by following the steps below:

• Click on the added keyboard language on the system tray located next to the date & time settings on the desktop taskbar.
• Check if the layout is similar to the display language added in the settings page.
  
• If not, click on the language icon and select the language layout from the options and check if the changes are effective.

Hi, I must be missing something.. what is it that you consider to be incorrect behaviour here?

What do you think the correct behaviour should be?

 

the german language should not exist.... i only installed a german keyboard not language.... the first option is correct one FR + german keyboard. The second option German +german keyboard should not exist.

If i add the german language under languages... and then delete it ..the second option disappear !... but comes back after a reboot
