Windows 10: Windows 10 - advanced appearance settings

We've just upgraded our office computers to Windows 10 and Office 365 and we seem to have lost the ability to change the background window colour.On Windows 7 : control panel : display : advanced : window : allowed you to select any colour you like and the 'window' part of the screen changed to that colour - in every programme.On the same page, you could change all of the ribbon colours, active pages, background pages, etc.That seems to have gone.I read an answer to a similar problem, which involved making changes to the registry file. Windows 10 download speed issues

Try this method:

• First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
• locate and select “Update and Security“.
• in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
• In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
• Turn off Updates from more than one place.

Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.

 

Advanced Appearance Settings

Can Microsoft add back the Advanced Appearance Settings dialog box in the Apps Settings Menu in the next feature build of Windows 10 called 21H2. I have been requesting this since 2015 and I am keeping on waiting for those appearance options to make their way back in Windows 10. Please add this back. I really need it for customizing my own themes in depth in Windows 10.

Please add this back. Many users are requesting those addition color options for theme personalization in the Personalization Settings of Windows 10.
