Windows 10: windows 10 advanced power registry key Dword 0 attribute does not work anymore why???

Why all the advanced power option registry Attribute 0 does not make the option added to the advanced power option settings?for example in this guidehttps://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/108391-add-remove-hibernate-after-power-options-windows.htmlit says use this cmd code to add the "Hibernate after" in Power Options powercfg -attributes SUB_SLEEP 9d7815a6-7ee4-497e-8888-515a05f02364 -ATTRIB_HIDEI tried but it does not work on my windows 10 but it works on my windows 8.It created a registry keyHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\238C9FA8-0AAD-41ED-83F4-97BE242

Registry keys and DWORDs for Windows 10 personalization

With prev win releases we, users, had a wide range of options for personalizing themes. Yet we almost lost controls of how the system looks with Win10 release. Since we updated to w10 we've been forced to choose from a pretty meager list of options.

Last year I used to set my w8.1 up to some sort of grey-ish theme and new OS took my previously used theme but somehow it looks rediculous: it adopted some ugly white frames here and there. And there is no (no surprise here, dear MS) user-friendly way to
fix it.

But as my younger brother dicovered ealier today there is a hidden one - using a Registry Editor.

There are two options to me now: i can make it myself or i can let a 10 year old kid to make it for me as a weekend project.

I do understand that editing registry is dangerous and can potentionally harm the system.

With that in mind i'd like to know if there is some list of registry keys and DWORDs available?

Missing Advanced Power Options

I've been touring the internet looking for a solution to restore advanced power options and I keep seeing this same reference, it might be worth a try. It simply requires changing a DWORD value of the key CsEnabled from 1 to 0.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power





I'm not certain this solution will work but it apparently has for many I read about. FYI, CsEnabled on my PC is set to 1 and I have all the options available.

As usual, backup the registry first and be cautious while making changes.

Let's try these simple troubleshooting steps and see if it corrects the problem:

• Open the registry editor. Open search/Cortana and type
  regedit
• Using the folders on the left hand side, navigate to the following folder:
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power
• on the right, one of the keys near the top should be called CsEnabled. Click on this.
• Change the value of this key from 1 to 0.
• After you reboot you should have your power plans back, and even be able to change advanced power options.
