Windows 10: Windows 10 after December updates

Dear Microsoft

Since installing the 8/12/18 updates I experienced my system to be unstable thinking it has a virus but wasn’t the case as I run security online scanners as Windows defender did not run as well as desktop applications in which I had to be an administrator to run or update which I am changing this within application properties.

Troubleshooting further I run incompatibility wizard but unable to still launch applications uninstalling & re-installing applications which didn’t resolve issue encounted after the installation of updates installed on Friday.

I then tried to restore my system to an earlier date but there was no date listed.

The other option I have is to re-boot system and press on F8 to see if I can restore system this way but system just re-boots normally.

When my system was purchased I didn’t did a disk to be able to proceed with the F11 options in repairing my system as my system seem to have been corrupted.

Would be another way of restoring my system back to the way it was before installing window updates for this month?

Your help will be very much appreciated.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Cumulative December update

I tried to download and install the December Cumulative Update from the website you had listed and did not have any luck. I received error messages stating that it would not install and it still has not come through windows update. Do you have any other
suggestions?
