Windows 10: Windows 10 already activated, what should I do?

In the past I had installed a pirated activated copy of windows 10 on my pc and I had logged in to my microsoft account. Since then I have formatted the pc and I reinstalled windows 10 from the official microsoft software page (here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 ) intending to activate them with an official licence (since I have ordered an official hardcopy and I am waiting for the courier rn) when I get my hands on it. Problem is, when I connected to my microsoft account, windows got automatically activated.

I know that pirated versions of windows can be riddled with malware and generally unsafe and that's why I wanted an official license. But now I got this iso from the microsoft page. Is it dangerous that the license is not legitimate? What should I do? Reinstall from the hardcopy when it arrives? Deactivate this license and use the official one? Make a new microsoft account and also use the new license? All of the above or don't bother doing anything? Safety is the primary concern here but if there are other things to consider I would like to know.

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?

If you upgraded to Windows 10 for free and ended up in a non-activated state, try following these steps:
