Windows 10: Windows 10 - always update News and Interests icon?

Is there a way to make the News and Interests icon in the taskbar always update so the user doesn't have to open it to get the current temperature? They have location access enabled, but the app only seems to use location services when it's opened and about 10-15 seconds after the app is closed.The user said it used to update all the time, but stopped after they were updated to Windows 10 22h2. The app is doing the same thing on my device also 22h2.Thank you!

I don't see how you can help, with irrelevant suggestions like these.

Yes, my taskbar is at the bottom of the screen -- not that the taskbar position has anything whatsoever to do with the News and interests icon.

Yes, I tried disabling and re-enabling the News and interests icon. I even wrote that suggestion in another thread.

Yes, my Windows is fully up to date, including optional updates. The version is 21H2. Actually, I believe the latest Windows update may be the problem. The icon was working correctly, until very recently.
