Windows 10 and browsers run very slow

I am using an old HP Pavilion Elite HPE-510F desktop as my main driver. It has an AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8 GHz, 8GB RAM and a 1TB hard drive. I also run 2 - 24" monitors connected through DVI.

I want to know why does Edge Dev Build 84.0.495.2, Chrome 81.0.4044.129, Brave v 1.8.86 and Opera latest version run extremely slow on Windows 10 after it was upgraded to v1909? Windows also runs slower than before. I have tried to optimize as much as possible but there is still 3 - 5 sec lag in Chrome, Edge and Brave. Opera and Windows are about 2 - 3 sec.

    Any ideas or suggestion?

Windows 10 and browsers run very slow

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
