Windows 10: Windows 10 and browsers

I recently had to perform a system reset on my desk top. Tried to upgrade to windows 10 version 1903. Have tried numerous times to do this with no luck. Also a lot of my other programs that were on the computer before the system restore were working good and now are not. I have an espon perfection scanner v550 and I no longer can use the Digital Ice function that came with scanner. I know that W10 does not work with this program, but it was working before the reset AND SUPPOSEDLY THERE IS A FIX TO REMEDY THIS SITUATION BUT I CAN NOT GET IT TO WORK EITHER. Also, I can download other browsers than Micro soft edge, but when I go in the search bar in that particular browser, it does not load or is real slow, and that is with both google chrome and a new one for me, Brave. Not real happy. What can I do to fix this? Ben

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
