Windows 10: Windows 10 and Comcast E-mail issues

Has anyone had issues lately syncing Windows 10 Mail to their Comcast account? My Comcast e-mail has not been working for about 1 1/2 weeks ongoing and was sporadic for about 1 week before that. I also am not able to get to the Comcast webmail page as I get the message that the page cannot be found. I am using Firefox and Chrome to test the webmail. My Comcast mail is working on my Android phone and I verified that the webmail is successfully working as well so it's not a Comcast issue. I've looked everywhere I have thought of and searched for, Comcast forums, old Microsoft answers and even 3r

Obtaining Comcast e-mails

I. & 2. I enter www.comcast.net, provide my password, and request a look at e-mails sent to me. Then I get a security block because the e-mail access is deemed a security problem.

3. No error message, bu an address prefaced with a closed lock symbol, which, when opened, states that the address is deemed untrustworthy, and I can't access the e-mails. Only has happened since I downloaded Windows 10. Also have a desktop w/o 10, and can
access Comcast e-mails.

 

Comcast email issue after Windows 10 install

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

I suggest you to remove and read the account and check if it fixes the issue. Follow the steps below:

• 
  Open Mail App and click on Settings.
  
• 
  Click on Accounts and then Click on the Comcast account.
  
• 
  Click on Delete Account and follow the on –screen instructions to remove the account.
  

Once account is removed reboot the computer and Add the account to Mail app.
