  1. windows 10 and games running extremely slow and lagging with 5-16fps after cpu upgrade.

Hi and thank you for your time and service given freely to the public,

I recently had a i5 3470 with 8gb ram and a 710gtx running on a dell 3010 WHICH RAN BEAUTIFULLY but i wanted to play Hitman 2 Tomb Raider and Red dead Redemption 2 the only games i enjoyed so i brought the gtx 960 OC and i was happy to play 45-60fps . Then i changed motherboard to a ASUS P8H61-I LX R2.0 with new case etc it ran even better after a fresh windows install and some deletion of so viruses which i knew nothing about called Segaruzo.. i think which made me suffer the same problem i addressed in the subject above.

But my human greed for more has punished me as i wanted a better cpu just to experiment so i brought the 3570k and here i am asking for some serious help and advise.

Please note all i did was removed the cpu fan removed and cleaned cpu and inserted and clean the new cpu and now i am getting 5-16fps on my games and lagging and glitching with nearly every program on the windows operating system.

Also i cannot find a Asus folder in my windows folder in LOCAL DRIVE C as i wanted to flash the bios to be compatible with my cpu, but i found out if my bios is higher then the bios i am installing i dont need to flash..My motherboard bios is 1402 and the downloaded bios for i5 3570k is 0308 I think.

I may think i know what am talking about but it has taken all last night and today to find this out and still i am confused what is going on.

Just to add my motherboard recognises the cpu correctly and dxdiag and device manager are showing gtx 960 as the main and only display.

Please help and thank you for your time in assisting me i really appreciate it very much.

    With love and thanks,

    Nathan.

    :)

  2. Gaming is Extremely slow

    Hi All,

I am using a Dell-Inspiron 13-5368 which is having rather medium type of PC specs. It is having 1TB HDD, 8GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 520 (4153MB)and running on Intel Core i5-6200 processor. I was having an issue of charging it, thus I contacted an authorized
dell service center. A technician came and fixed it and he also reinstalled the windows 10(the older build than I was having). Now, everything is restored and runs quite smoothly. But, when I installed the games, they are running extremely slow even at the lowest
graphic settings.Earlier, before the charging issue I used to play some quite high graphics game such as GTA5, Assassin's Creed Series, NFS, Call Of Duty that too at maxed out settings(except GTA) and they ran very smoothly without any lag giving me an average
FPS of 39-65 Frames Per Second. But now, when I installed the Assassin's Creed 4 which requires extremely low System Requirements is also lagging and even hangs for a period of 10-20 Seconds.I'm afraid that if I install GTA5 it may not even open. Please Help.

  3. Games Running slow on windows 8.1 and later

Games run very slow on windows 8.1 or later

    My PC

    1GB Nvidia GPU

    4GB RAM

    i3 CPU

    500GB HDD

I have games like GTA 4, Euro Truck Sim 2, NFS hot pursuit which used to run without any lag (20-30) fps on my windows 7 system before I upgraded to windows 8.1. Where fps dropped to 16-20 and finally the worst they got were in win10 where even GTA San Andreas
    ran with some lag.

    Please help.

    It is really annoying

Windows 10 - extreme input lags

Since a longer time i get extreme keyboard input lag. Sometimes its just a second delay but it can be for up to a minute. While playing or writing its not fun at all. Below some short notes:<br/>

    1. CPU during lag is ok and is around 5 to 40%<br/>
    2. HDD is far away from being busy during lags<br/>
    3. Temperatur CPU 28°C and Motherboard 30°C last time it occured<br/>
    4. Sometimes it is only for a minute, sometimes it lasts for way longer times<br/>
    5. JAVA has been uninstalled<br/>
    6. Someone told me to use Razer Boost Software (did not help!)<br/>
    7. Keyboard Battery Status is at 100% (tested it with wired keyboard - same issue)<br/>
    8. Using Windows 10 now but it was same issue with Windows 7 before!<br/>
    9. When lagging it concerns all Software running i.e. games, editors etc...<br/>
    10. Using Chrome. Lags persist if I end all Chrome tasks.<br/>
    11. I am using Avira AntiVir (Free version). (Does this effect keyboard input?)<br/>
    12. Lag only for Keyboard. Mouse and other Input such as Audio works like a charm.<br/>

I read through various threads in the internet with people having similar issues but found nothing that matched this exact problem. For most of them uninstalling Java helped....

Thanks so much for all the comments

    Regards
    André
