Windows 10: Windows 10- Archicad Bim server issue

Hello,

I'm an Architect and I'm using Archicad Graphisoft 21 for my work.

It supports a Teamwork module- Bim server or Bim Cloud Basic, which is -in our case a virtual server installed on a computer and accessible via our local office network.

Each of our tree computers menages it's Bim server, but some time ago the Bim servers under Win 10 became inaccessible.

Those under Win 7 works properly.

Archicad components have all permissions and are not being blocked by any defensive program- as far as I could check.

I contacted the Graphisoft consultant who suggested it might be a Windows issue.

We use Win 10 Pro 1903.

I'll appreciate any suggestions considering the problem.

PROBLEMS OPENNING ARCHICAD 20

HELLO!

I have a problem with one dll file .

I recently installed Archicad 20 in my windows 10 x 64 and when i try to open Archicad ,it shows a box with the description:

"GXMedia.dll not found.File must be avaliable to run the application!"

I installed the GXMedia.dll and I checked in GRAPHISOFT (in Program Files-Local disc C) and found the file installed.

I tried to open Archicad 20 ,but it still shows the same box telling that the GXMedia.dll not found and I couldn't open the program.

Please ,if anyone can help what to do next,I'd be very thankfull!

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

New install Windows 10 (issue solved)

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
