Windows 10: Windows 10 as the Centralia Pennsylvania Coal Seam Fire

Just closed two of my 3 outlook/MS accounts \ There was a certain glee to extinguishing part of this. I see that Windows 10 is like the Centralia Penn coal seam fire. It started from a mining accident and a failure to adequately address the subterranean coal seam that caught on fire. Eventually the government forced people out of the town because it was so dangerous to live in. There are about 7 people allowed to live there for the rest of their natural life. However, the zip code was taken away in order to discourage anyone else from staying there. Really, the people that still live there have to travel to get their mail. Windows 10 is, like this, literally a hot mess that is essentially unfixable. Unless something like the very location or geography are fundamentally changed, it will continue to push people away beside a few MS diehards. I have a hard time putting into words just how bad Windows 10 was and just how much I am dissatisfied with it. I don't like to use the word hate, but if that wasn't a problem. I don't know how to encapsulate just how truly awful--I mean, sustained levels of dysfunction; creative levels of figuring out how to alienate consumers and new ways to skewer the functionality of programs and apps that have worked really well for decades. I don't know how they did it.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 and Fire Stick Miracast issue

I appreciate the efforts which you took to get the issue resolved.

Since you are not able to find the fire stick, I would request you to execute the hardware and devices troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key + X, select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
  
• 
  Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.
  

Please revert if the fires tick still does not get recognized.
