    Windows 10 asks for Bitlocker Recovery Key at boot eventhough Bitlocker has not been activated


    Hi Community,after installing the newest update for windows 10 my computer wont start correctly.At boot I get prompted to enter a Bitlocker Recovery Key, however Bitlocker was never activated and so I don't have such a key I checked on my Microsoft accountAnd all other recovery options are are disabled uninstalled latest update, System Restore, Startup Repair...Only option left is to Reset my device which I would prefer to avoid as that means quite a bit of data loss to me.If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

    Eventhough SECURE BOOT enabled , Bitlocker keep me ask the recovery key

    After i dual boot to Linux , my windows keep me asking the Recovery key everytime I boot the computer , this is completely annoying eventhough I can access my computer using the recovery key, it's very annoying. This makes me disabled the bitlocker, and
    back use without the bitlocker. Anyone can solve this problem?>

    1. Are you not able login to your computer due to BitLocker Recovery Key?
    2. Did you ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key on your computer?
    3. Are you not able to login to your Microsoft Account to find the BitLocker Recovery Key?
    4. Are you using Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Professional?

    Meanwhile, try finding BitLocker Recovery Key if you have ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key for your computer.

    Please elaborate on the issue, so that we can understand the concern and get back to us to help you further.
