Windows 10: Windows 10 ...AT LAST

I can't believe it. After 3 years of trying to download windows 10. Going on the microsoft forums and following all the advice from both MS staff and helpers.


Getting remote support from microsoft over a 3 year period and still nothing worked from downloading to using media creation tool etc, not having anying devices plugged int while downloading etc, turn of all anti virus etc......


I read a post where someone was complaining that it was taking too long for windows 10 to download so he opted out of "apps" to help speed the process, just download files and windows 10.


So I tried it, after 2 months of giving up, and hey presto. Now using windows 10. It was an app/program that was causing windows 10 to fail. Sigh.... geez louise. Finally have windows 10. Yay me.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
