  1. Windows 10 Audio Devices all of them automatically disable/mute when the computer is idle...

I've found that when my computer is idle for a decent amount of time usually around 45 minutes, but it's never exact, and happens more commonly when I have an application actively running, I'll return to my computer to find that no audio is available for it. When I pull open the sound settings to choose my output device, either none is available, or the only one that is available is the Realtek Digital Output which is not connected to an actual device. In order to re-enable audio, I have to start running the troubleshooter, which resolves the lack of audio before it even gets me to the menu to select an audio device. Nice, easy fix, but it's still not great to have to do a few times every day and it worries me that the issue might get worse.

I've tried a fresh installation of Windows and reinstalling the audio drivers, but the issue persists. Also tried unchecking the "Allow application to take exclusive control of this device" options.

    :)

  3. Windows 10- Audio Device Disabled

    Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting your query.

To understand the issue better, I would like to know what is the make and model of the computer?

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check is helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below methods.

    Method 1.

I suggest you to uninstall/reinstall the sound driver and check.

    • Press Windows key + X and select
      Device manager
      .

    • Now click on Audio input and outputs to expand, right click on the device and click on
      uninstall.
    • Once you are done uninstalling the restart the computer. If should automatically installed the generic driver.
If the still persist, try the below steps.

    Step 2.

I suggest you to update the audio driver and check.

    • Press Windows key + X and select
      Device manager
      .
    • Now click on Audio input and outputs and right click on it and
      update the software.
If the above methods did not help to fix the issue, try the below method.

    Method 2.

I recommend you to go to the computer manufacturer website and download the latest updated sound adapter for Windows 10 and install the same. If the available driver is not for Windows 10 try installing the driver in compatibility mode.

    • Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

    • Select Compatibility tab.

    • Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

    • Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
And also visit the below link for No sound in Windows
