    Windows 10 Audio Management

    Hello,

I've been using the newish "App volume and device preferences" menu since release and have had the exact same issue since. I have 2 outputs I use, my Headphones Default and Speakers for mainly Google Chrome and Spotify, selecting output has worked fine, except for after I restart windows. If I had the output for both apps to my Speakers not by default device and restart, the setting is still applied as expected, but audio comes out the default device every single time, I have to change it my headphones and back to speakers for it to come out the respective device. Why does it not automatically go back to the desired output device on it's own? This seems counter-intuitive, would they at least allow a setting for it to work as expected? Is there a way I could use NirCmd to create a script that does this automatically as I've done seperately for enforcing microphone volume?
