Windows 10: Windows 10 audio stutter when i connect my phone to use usb tethering

When I connnect my phone to the pc using a USB cable the pc recognises it, and nothing else happens, which is good.But when I turn on USB tethering on the phone my audio stutters for about 20-30 seconds, but only if I use bluetooth audio.Any ideaas what might fix it?

Does tethering usb to PC shorten phone life?

Battery is a non issue as it runs off usb power while tethered.

Phone life wont shorten as that's what the phone does anyway which is transfer data.

I think the arrangement you are describing is this -


Notes -
1 USB tethering settings within the phone allow your USB cable to be connected to the phone's own data connection and hence to the internet.
2 Your router's WiFi network is connected to the phone.
3 If I have understood you correctly, the router does not have its own internet connection.

But
4 You seem to assume that the phone's WiFi module is connected internally to the phone's USB tether and hence to the problem computer.
5 You seem to assume that the phone's WiFi module is connected internally to the phone's own data connection and hence to the internet.
None of my phones have ever had these internal connections.

So,
6 Unless my phones have been atypical, the answer to your question is, "No, USB tethering cannot be used to achieve what you want.".
7 If you check the ethernet-connected computer, it does not have an internet connection.

If I have misunderstood your arrangements then please tell me.

• Did you try another device to connect to your computer using USB tethering?
• Are you able to view that your phone is connected on the Windows Explorer?
