Windows 10: Windows 10 auto scrolling issue at anywhere if browsing, watching video on YT, coding etc.

Please help if anyone knows why this happens.

Since last 15 days I'm facing issue with windows 10 version: 1909 osbuild: 18363.1016. When I'm browsing or coding in my editor windows automatically scroll down while it's doesn't reached bottom and if i tried to scroll up then again it goes down. Sometimes it happens 2 3 times then stop for while and sometimes it happens for long and i need to restart my laptop.


I tried many things but nothing works. Last option is format my laptop but it's headache for software engineer because once format then reinstall everything it take long time.

Auto scroll issue

Thank you for updating.

I suggest you to install Synaptic driver in Compatibility mode. Also install Keyboard and mouse drivers from manufacturer website.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Can't watch videos on Win 10

Please assist me with the following information related to this issue:

• Which web browser are you using to watch online videos?
• Do you receive any error message?
• What is the make and model of the computer?

If you are using Internet Explorer to watch online videos, I suggest you to
follow the steps mentioned in the following link and check:Why won't videos play in Internet Explorer?

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
