    **** you, Windows 10.

I had put two hours of work into that Word doc since my last save, and had to run out of the house to pick someone up from work whose car had failed. Even typing this post, my text was autosaved. But your Word document? Lost forever. Not in my autosave directory, despite my 5min autosave settings. Not in the "Unsaved drafts" section. Not in any temporary files. Gone. That was 1100 words, you cost me. When I returned, I was greeted by a beautiful blue screen telling me that these updates were something to be excited about. Know what I'm not excited about?

These updates shutting down my computer and losing my files.

    **** you, Windows 10.

    :)

Lumia 1520 shuts down randomly with plenty of battery remaining

I found the problem, it's a battery issue.

    You need to change it.

Be careful to check for a REAL oem one...

I got rekt by amazon so the new battery is not charging full ... but at least, it's not random restarting anymore Windows 10 Automatic Update REKT :D

  3. Windows 10 haven't updated to version 1511 --- How to find product key

I haven't run the ISO disk as of yet, I want the current product key in hand, on a post it note, prior to doing that, not interested in MS bullS**T about it not being needed. 2 hours online with tech support and they can't cope with the question of how
can the current product key be accessed in windows 10.

I've never owned a Apple product, but I can never see buying or having another MS product in my household after this.

    NOT THE ONLY ONE

You actually walked away from a computer without clicking save?

  5. I know, I know. Poor operator practices.

But yes, I ended up rushing out without clicking save over a period of time, and apparently when WX shuts down for updates, it's not even a "nice" shutdown; it must have been hard because the file was not found in any of the MSO temporary files, while others from a previous session were.

Overall, I was aware of my personal error, but confused as to why none of the fail-safes worked with the shutdown to update.
