Windows 10: Windows 10 background apps are causing 100% of full screen apps to stutter.

The literal second that any app becomes "full screen", Windows 10 launches an actual deluge of background apps - and keeps them going forever. And ever.Even if I'm physically disconnected from the internet, things like windows update will go full roar and make games older than this hardware literally unplayable. Things like OOBE broker, Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry, Microsoft Pay, 3 forms of Microsoft Office, some Nwscifssdcicmmms thing - and about 7 more random windows related "services" - that I have never used, don't have, never intend to use, specifically told Cortana I would never

Not sure if anyone's seen this yet, but they have $.10 (yes, 10 cents) android apps on the Android Market to celebrate 10 BILLION downloads. So far I've picked up Tetris, Need for Speed Shift, SoundHound amd ADWLauncher EX. There were several other games that were listed, including ones too good for my phone *Frown

 

why is there a windows 10 app for netflix?

Yes, it's no longer the windows phone OS. It's just Windows 10. And yes, the app is perfect for the phone.

Hi, have you ever removed Edge?

Sometimes this might happen because there's a MS server issue. However, what you say above suggests something else may be amiss.

N.B. after resetting Spotlight as Bree suggests, it may take several days (in my experience) before it starts working again.
