Windows 10: Windows 10 Backup - using file and image at the same time

Hi,


Just got Win 10 going ......... and I got a 4TB MD Book yea, well anyway


I now have Windows 7 Backup and restore from control panel happily chugging away creating a system image one a week to partition E

on that WD Book thing ...... so dandy.


Now for the other one I want can I go in to Settings / Update & Security / Backup / and run another backup using File History?


So yes I want two backup but both are going to the same WD Book but on two separate partitions, and yes I AM including the File

Backup Drive in that entire image. why not?


All in all the whole system is at about 1TB out of 4 on the WB Black inside the PC.

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

its already there. there is a hard set factory image from samsung. problem is it takes a long time to get that backup into the drive again and destroys the C drive data.

so looks like i wont be trying windows 10 anytime soon *Stick Out Tongue

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
