Windows 10: Windows 10 Bitlocker popup doesnt appear for data drive after closing first time.

Hi I have seen this problem for maybe 1 year. It is a pretty annoying bug, so I am mentioning it.I have a bitlocker'ed data drive that requires a password to unlock each reboot. If I click on the drive, It brings up the password popup. But sometimes I might click away from that popup without entering anything for example to go look up the password, and the popup goes away. Now from this point, no matter what I try to do, I can never get the popup to return. So there is no way to unlock my drive.The only two ways I can fix it is to reboot again, or to log out and log back in again. This is f

As you can see BitLocker Option is not highlighted for selection. It's like Windows does not even recognize this drive as a locked drive. And this drive does contain lot of Data.

I suggest you to perform below mentioned steps to disable BitLocker.

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.

  Change View by from Category
  to Large Icons/Small Icons.
  
• 
  Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
  Turn BitLocker Off.
  
• 
  Follow on screen instructions. Click on Decrypt the Drive
  when the message appears.
