Windows 10: Windows 10 Black Screen After Bios

Hello,


I am struggling to get Windows 10 to work after my BIOS screen, all I see is a black screen. It has been working the previous week but no longer works.


The only thing I have done lately is plug in a HDMI 2.0b cable into my TV. I have removed that now but the problem persists. I tried checking on my TV in case Windows was displaying on that instead of my usual displayport but that was not the issue. The Displayport Cable I use for my monitor is indeed working as I can see the BIOS screen but cannot see Windows 10 at all.


I have tried repairing Windows and reset my BIOS to default but to no avail.

I also added an ethernet cable in so perhaps an update caused this? I'm very confused.


I also blindly got into Windows 10 once with my display showing BUT it would not load my side icons or let me open any apps.


Should I fresh install Windows 10 via USB?
