Windows 10: Windows 10 black screen

Hi All,

For the past couple of days my computer is having some issues. Mainly there is no display in the monitor. The system would be working perfectly then all of a sudden the screen would go black, I could still hear the CPU running. I checked the net and there were many suggestion mainly based on a new error regarding Windows 10 update which was causing all the trouble. I tried few suggestions but to no avail. Some of them included updating the display driver. I do not use any graphics...

Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

Google search and you will find a lot of the "Windows Black Screen of Death with cursor" fixes.

 

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad
