Windows 10: Windows 10 Blank Password

Discus and support Windows 10 Blank Password in User Accounts and Family Safety to solve the problem; Can I use a blank password in Windows 10 as I did in other versions?     Can I use a blank password in Windows 10 as I did in other versions? I will be getting a Windows 10 computer shortly.

    Contana setup asks for Windows 10 password - no disk available

    While trying to setup Contana in Windows 10 Microsoft asks for my Windows 10 password. Since my laptop came with win 10 already installed I never set up a password for Windows. During the Contana setup Microsoft asks "To be sure it's really you we'll need
    your current Windows password one more time. If you don't have a Windows password just leave the box blank and select Next."

    My problem is I have no password, and leaving the box blank doesn't work.

    Any suggestions?

    How do you delete sign-in password on Windows 10 it is not needed

    just started to use Windows 10. I was able to change the password to none by leaving the new password blank. Go to "change password" , use your outlook e-mail, and leave new password blank.

    Microsoft could change this if they wanted to :-(

    Only with a Local Account as opposed to a Microsoft Account.
    When signing in with a local account, just enter a user name then click 'Next' instead of entering a password.

Changed password that worked to a less complex 4 digit PIN that I could easily remember. I think it accepted the 4 digit code as I did get an error.
