Windows 10: windows 10 blue screen, code "system exception error"

this issue started in the middle of playing a game and i had not installed anything recently in terms of something weird. i only use steam and a handful of well trusted sites and do not visit advertisement links or anything else of the like. i have no antivirus besides microsoft defender but my computer keeps blue-screening during games or doing multiple applications at once I.E internet and steam update with the pop up saying "Windows Stop Code: System Exception Error"
